Wenche Rolfsen, Chairman of the board

Ph.D. in Pharmacology, adjunct professor at Uppsala University. Wenche Rolfsen has held top positions in R&D within the Pharmaceutical Industry and has until recently been CEO for Quintiles Scandinavia. Other Board memberships include among others Swedish Orphan Biovitrum, Aprea, Industrifonden, Aker Biomarine, Bionor Pharma and Axis Shield.

Klas G. Wiman

M.D., Ph.D., is one of the Co-Founders, and Professor of Molecular Cell and Tumor Biology at the Department of Oncology-Pathology, Karolinska Institutet. Wiman has performed academic research on p53 since 1990 and published more than 50 scientific articles on this topic. He has been coordinator of an EU FP6 Integrated project with 23 research groups focused on mutant p53, and editor of the book "25 Years of p53 Research" published in 2005. He is member of the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet.

Torbjørn Bjerke

M.D., represents Karolinska Development where he holds the position CEO. He has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including roles as President and CEO of Orexo AB, a position he held from 2007 until January 2011, President and CEO of Biolipox AB and Director of Pharmacology at AstraZeneca. He has also served as Executive Vice President of R&D at ALK-Abello.

Jonas Brambeck

Ph.D., represents Industrifonden where he is working as Investment Manager. He has more than ten years of experience within international venture capital including board representation in a number of companies. Previously he has had positions within research and development as well as marketing and sales in the Life Science area.

Peter Buhl Jensen

M.D., D.M.Sc., professor in Clinical Oncology at Copenhagen University, and former Chief Oncologist at the Department of Oncology, Ålborg Hospital. He is a co-founder of the Danish cancer therapeutics company Topotarget for which he also was CEO between 2001 and 2010. He is currently CEO for LiPlasome Pharma ApS and Board Director of Vecata A/S, Mirrx A/S, PledPharma AB, Copenhagen University Proof of Concept financing board, Symbion A/S and WNT Research AB. He has published more than 100 scientific papers on drug development within oncology.

Terje Kalland

MD. PhD., represents Karolinska Development where he is working as CSO. He has over 20 years experience from leading positions in the pharmaceutical industry, including roles as Senior Vice President, Biopharmaceuticals Research at Novo Nordisk 2005-2011, CSO of Biovitrum (2002-2005) and Global head of Oncology Research at Pharmacia Corporation (1988-2002). He is a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and a non-executive Director of CBIO, an Australian biotech company.
